De Hortus Bulborum staat dit jaar in het teken van de verjaardagen van 2 bijzondere tulpen uit het sortiment. Dit zijn de REMBRANDT TULP ZOMERSCHOON en de ENKELE VROEGE TULP LAC VAN RIJN. Beide cultivars dateren uit 1620 en vieren in 2020 hun 400 ste verjaardag.
Op deze middag zullen zanger Renee van der Well, bekend van de vocal groep Vulcano en onlangs nog te zien bij The Voice Senior, de zusjes Suze Nijman-Nuyens en Lia Kleef- Nuyens en Henk Brandsma op een ludieke wijze voor de opening zorg dragen.
